Blue Ridge Energy recently held its latest telephone town hall in which thousands of members across its service area participated.
If members missed the opportunity to join the recent telephone town hall, a full recording is available online at: www.BlueRidgeEnergy.com/TTH. Members can hear Chief Executive Officer Doug Johnson give updates including the next community solar garden currently in the final planning phases for Caldwell County and information on the cooperative’s largest system improvement project that is taking place over the next few years to ensure members have adequate, reliable electricity now and in the future.
Blue Ridge Energy’s telephone town hall is part of a continued outreach effort that has taken place in the spring and fall the past few years. The call allows members to receive timely updates as well as ask questions.
Engaging members is a priority for the cooperative. In addition to telephone town halls, the cooperative also offers members local district offices in Caldwell, Watauga, Ashe and Alleghany counties; a website with Chat and feedback options at BlueRidgeEnergy.com; 24/7 telephone options and social media through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Blue Ridge Energy and its employees are also highly involved in local communities and organizations.
The electric cooperative serves some 76,000 members in Caldwell, Watauga, Ashe, and Alleghany counties as well as parts of Avery, Alexander and Wilkes counties. Learn more at www.BlueRidgeEnergy.com.
